At the apex of the firm’s governance structure is the Advisory Board whose members are highly experienced professionals with diverse knowledge and skills in Business, Finance, Governance and Investment management.

The advisory board provides both corporate and technical leadership and sets the strategic direction of the firm. They also ensure our clients receive high value professional services.

    Ronald is an audit & tax expert and the managing partner of Ronalds & Associates. He is well versed with the International Standards on Auditing as well as the International Financial Reporting Standards. Ronald has spent several years auditing organizations and companies in the profit and not for profit sectors and has extensive experience in audit of organizations in the, NGO, financial services and commercial sectors. He is and Experienced tax Consultant and has offered exclusive value based Financial solutions to various organizations.

    Ronald is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) and a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He holds a degree in Business Administration in Accounting & Finance and is a Certified Secretary of Kenya (CSK), and a Member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS). Ronald also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He is also the finance Director at Sublime Concepts Financial Services, a limited liability Company offering financial advisory services and sits on other various Boards.

    Stephen is the Chairperson of the Advisory Board at Ronalds and Associates. He is a fellow at the Institute of the Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a member in good standing and holder of a practicing certificate. He has a successful career of over 40yrs in the Audit, Accountancy and Commerce fields.

    Stephen is an accomplished Financial and Investment advisor. He is an expertise in External and Internal Audits, Financial Management, Project Management, Development of Financial Strategies, Corporate Strategy, Operations management and governance.

    He has been instrumental in the inception and growth of some prestigious companies including: Equator Line, BoFocus plc, Chantrey Vellacott DFK Chartered Accountants and Longcrofts, Chartered Accountants in the UK. He has also provided sound leadership in some other African companies propelling their growth, these include: Madhavani international SA/Nilefos in South Africa, Reltex Tarpauins (Africa) EPZ Limited and Chronicle Group International Limited.

    Noah is a Member of the Advisory Board and a Senior Partner at Ronalds & Associates.  He is a technical financial expert with more than 15 years of post –qualification experience

    He is an expert in the areas of Finance and Strategic management. He has experience spanning from various industries such as transport sector, ICT sector, Real Estate, Legal and Consultancy, Manufacturing, mining and oil sector among others. Prior to joining Ronalds & Associates, Noah spent over 5 years at one of the leading audit firms in Kenya, where he was a Senior Manager for Audit and Tax Advisory services.

    Noah is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and a practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He holds Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance option and is a Certified Secretary of Kenya (CSK). He sits on the board of a private investment Organization and a board chair of a Faith Based Sacco.

    Peter is a member of the Advisory Board of Ronalds & Associates. He has lived and worked in Kenya for over 20 years, holding senior positions at Bins (Nairobi) Services Limited and Wines of the World Limited before concentrating  fully his own way doing independent consulting.

    In 2009, he set up Alexanna and has since built up a business with a strong reputation for giving its clients quality professional advice.
    His particular expertise comes in Strategic and General Management and advising his clients on how to successfully grow their business with the resources needed to satisfy all stakeholders.

    Peter Gachanja

    Peter is a Tax Manager at Ronalds and Associates. He has 8+ years of post – qualification experience in Taxation, Assurance, Corporate Finance, Management Accounting, and Organizations Risk Management. He specializes in the area of Tax with a kin interest in Tax research and emerging international tax planning issues. He has handled various assignments such as Tax Exemptions application, KRA Tax audits, Vat Refund audits, Tax Health Checks and Coordination of Tax Seminars at the firm’s level.

    Peter is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Finance from Kenyatta University (First class Honors), and is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK).

    Evelyn Wairimu

    Evelyn is an Audit Manager at R&A and a Not for Profit audit specialist. She has over 6 years of post qualification experience and is well conversant with audits of USAID funded projects and other international donors such as UKAid, EU etc. She is well versed with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)

    Evelyn is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK), she holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics and Sociology from Kenyatta University and she is also a member of the Institute Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK).

    Martin Karanja

    Martin is an Audit Manager at Ronalds & Associates. He has over 10 years’ experience in audit for financial institutions, NGOs, and SMEs.

    He currently specializes in audit for financial institutions. Including Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies, Micro lending and micro finance institutions, Investment companies, Insurance entities, Pension funds and Bank. He is well versed with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)

    He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya – CPA (K) and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK).

    Festus is an Audit Manager at Ronalds and Associates. He has over 6 years of audit experience; he has undertaken various assignments in: Financial reviews and audit, assurance and advisory, Corporate Finance, Forensic audit and accounting, Management accounting organization and Risk Management and Taxation.

    He heads the team that handles audit and advisory for corporate and trading entities including: manufacturing, Oil and gas, Retail, Hospitality and services, professional service firms, Transport and logistics, Building and construction and other profit making entities.

    Festus is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) and he holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance Option from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

    Charity is the Advisory Team Leader at Ronalds and Associates and has more than 5 years of post–qualification experience. She is well versed with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) Charity is in charge of providing management and Financial Advisory and audit services to the clients in the commercial and not for profit sectors. Charity is a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK).

    She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Eldoret. Charity is a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK).

  • Doreen Alivitsa
    Doreen Alivitsa

    Doreen is the business development executive in the firm and also the management consultant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Community development from Daystar University. She is the one who spear heads and runs the Customer Relationship Department in Imperial Registrars.

    Prior to joining Ronalds and Associates, Doreen was Part time consultant at Merlin International Nyanza Program(CARE program), Life skills Promoters, KEPSA in the Kenya Youth Empowerment Project, Gertrude’s Hospital, KNBS (Research on Urban Health Reproductive Initiative, contraceptive Intake in Kenya) and Kenya National Census, IEBC Westlands Constituency (Support Election Trainer) and Sleek sourcing Limited (Uwezo fund capacity building to youths, women and Person’s living with disabilities group).

    Beatrice is a lawyer and company secretary at the firm and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi, a post graduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Certified Public Secretary of Kenya. Prior to joining the firm, Beatrice undertook her pupilage at Ndung’u Karanja  & Company Associates in the litigation, intellectual property, commercial and conveyance law departments.

    Beatrice is a swift and effective individual with a good grasp of procedural as well as substantive law. Having previously been engaged in diverse legal environments, she has advanced analytical and research skills and possesses specialized legal expertise in Company and commercial law and Immigration law.

    In addition to these, Beatrice is also involved in non-contentious and contentious aspects of taxation and preparing legal opinions to offer advisory services to clients in a wide range of matters.

    Beatrice is a member of the Certified Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).

    She awaits admission as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya later this year.

    Dawn Marie is the Marketing and Client Relations Officer and also a Marketing Management consultant. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Bcom) Marketing from the University of Nairobi. She Ensures Ronalds and Associates offers exceptional value to her clients. She is also the one in charge of growing our markets.

    Dawn is a seasoned Marketing, Communications and Business Development Professional, having served various professional services firms including Sichangi Partners and Advocates, African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) Short course and consultancy unit, CIAR Africa, among others. Dawn in an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketer (ACIM) – UK.
